First wedding dance

Why choose a professional choreographer to create your first dance?

Like the cutting of the cake or the best man's speech, the first time a bride

and groom dance together as newlyweds is a once in a lifetime experience to

look back on and bring even more meaning to your chosen song.

Quality of Service

We are not nationwide, not an agency and I don't employ agency dance instructors.

It is important for me that I can guarantee every instructor I assign to a client is of an equal standard, and has been auditioned and vetted by me personally, so should unforeseen circumstances arise ie an instructor is unwell, your lesson will be covered by an equally experienced teacher.  I work with a small close-knit team linked through our professional dance backgrounds, we work within a one hour commute and keep our client base within easy reach, reducing their travel and keeping our pricing affordable.

What to expect from your dance lesson experience…

Every couple starts out with no idea of what to expect from their 1st dance

lessons, from those who may be a complete beginner, worry about their

'two left feet’ or the most reluctant grooms. However with years of experience,

we create something as simple as you’re comfortable with or maybe you'll

decide on a more challenging piece, either way with creative footwork,

turns and expert instruction on lifts & dips,

I promise you that we will create your unique dance.

Before your lesson…

Once you have decided to make that first dance a part of your big day, I will arrange to meet              with you both and discuss the details... favourite song, dance style, and your ideas of what

you would like your couple dance to look like, brides's dress(in secret!), will your music be

an original recording or a live band's cover? Not all couple's I have met have 'their song'

so after we've discussed how you would like your 1st dance to look, then I can advise on

wedding dance songs to suit your vision.

Where would you like to rehearse?

No need for a Blackpool ballroom dance floor; a reasonably sized space                                                       in your home is adequate or alternatively a  local hall which I can arrange                                                     for you, alternatively we have the use of our dance studio in Stockport.                                                                 Your choreography will be prepared ahead of your first dance lesson,

any part of your choreography can, of course be adjusted at any stage of                                                   our practice sessions together, it's essential that you both feel comfortable                                                and confident with every part of the choreography for your first couples dance.
